i have obd2 gsr head on what i believe is a obd1 gsr block

i have an obd2b to obd1 jumper harness.

i tried to check my codes manually

i think it kept giving me

codes 7, 8 , & 9 and it kept repeating them

please give me some real help..my car is idling crappy

 

7 TPS - throttle position sensor
8 TDC - top dead centre sensor
9 CYP - cylinder sensor


Sounds like your timing is way off. Check the cam timing before you blow the motor. Being a tooth off will cause a bad idle.
