so i think i might have the jdm spec tranny in my DB8 the transmission has ben replaced because the vin on it does not match that of the car, and

it says it came out of a DC4 i dont know what that is, but in the vin that is what is in place of where my DB8 lies in the chassy vin

and the tranny code is a S80, how can you tell if you have a jdm spec, with the lsd in it.. ?

fyi i did my research as much as i could and couldnt find anything.

 

there is no vin on jdm trannys. If there is a vin on it and it says dc4, its from either a ls/rs/gs non vtec b series motor.
