help....h&r sport springs..
i have had coil overs on and lowered about the same as ebach sportlines. these springs make my freakin car look like it is stock ride height? wtf is up. the specs read that they are a hair lower then the sportlines. i haven't even put the rear on yet, i drove up and down my driveway. are they going to set? they are about to come off..
well i dropped my car and we got 3 of 4 done...lowered it down and we could barely tell it was lowered...but when we did the 4th and dropped it down.... success it was lowered...i have the same springs and it looks pretty good
do you know exactly what springs you have? because there are 2 different ones OE Sport and Sport, the regular Sport springs dont drop that low anyways (1.5 - 1.75")
I have H&R Sport w/Koni Reds, and it was dropped close to 2" all around. Check the part # and verify at www.hrsprings.com.

ok, well the box it was shipped in (on the white ticket) says item number 51807. the actual H&R box says 51807. the oe sport part is 51807-55, the regular sport is the # i have, and those are the specs i read when i lowered it, but it doesn't seem like that is the drop i have? i hope they will just set and lower a little more. tell me how low yours is.
The OEs drop is barely noticeable, only if you are parked next to a stock height car. I had the sports there is no wheel gap at all you can definately tell it is dropped esp once the springs settle. I would guess about a 2" drop.
yea i have the real sports, no the oe's.....you say no wheel gap at all, how long did it take for them to settle all the way? and what size wheel and tire are you running. i have 13" steelies on it, but i also have some 205-40-r17 that i haven't put up on there since these springs? thanks

ok, well i know i have the right springs now, i went and looked at the springs, they have the part number on them. 51807 i believe. i know they are the number fot the sport and not oe sport. my back struts are blown and so the front is sitting higher than the rear, but i guess i am going to have to just wait until they settle?
are those 16"? mine is sitting way higher than that with my 205-40-r16 on .

yeah, they definitely will settle.
My brother put on some OE sports on his del sol, and when we got the tires back on, and took it off the stands, it looked like it was stock...
now I can rub the wheels when autocrossing.
