Thought I would post this for people. If your like me and have a higher mileage crv with failing UV joints then this is for you. No shop around my area has a solution, only to replace the shaft at 400$+. Did a little research and found http://www.rockforddriveline.com. They sell the replacements for about 30$ each. Saved me hundreds of dollars. I told my guy at the driveshaft shop and he is going to use them now. It was a pita to get them our, but nothing a BFH and some elbow grease didn't fix.
Are you ordering a set? I was curious to see the brand and part number. Wondering about what it originally fit or if it is CRV specific
is it the same as this:

no. that is a carrier bearing, the universal joints are not replaceable on the stock drive shaft. I think that a new drive shaft is $750ish from honda.
the op is talking about this:

owww..
i see, well i call it a cross joint..LOL
i have a spare prop shaft that i replaced from my other V,
thats the problem that it encountered, and yes the solution
for it was to replace the whole thing.. someone told me that
theres a place near me that does rebuilding of those prop/drive shafts
i just have to locate it, so incase something happened again, i already
have a back up one....

Yeah, the center bearing is the carrier bearing. Those hardly EVER die. I'm talking about the ones at each connection point.
They are already ordered and installed. My dad did the work for me while the wife and I were on vacation, so no pics. It was about 70$ shipped. These joints, unlike the oem ones come with grease fittings(though my dad used normal ones instead of the weird ones that came with them). He said he used the press and was able to easily get the old ones out. The new ones stay in with clips.

rockford drive line makes good stuff. they make their own products. I used them to get U joints for a honda atv that honda only sold as a complete axle unit. Im sure you wont have any problems with them

I just ordered mine.. I need a flange that goes on the trans.. when my ujoint went pop it took part of my flange with it.. I am going to try to weld it but IDK how to weld so it will be an exp.
I would take it to a shop to weld it. I believe its cast. its hard to weld properly, if you have never welded before this isnt something to start with to try. it has to hold the u-joint properly and might need machining after being welded as well.
Awesome, so is that what could be causing this CRV to randomly shake from the passenger side while accelerating for a second or two?
BTW, OP, your avatar is EXACTLY like the one I made a few years back (apparently others have found/used it), and I was banned here for a while because of it...I think by Mr Pony...fortunately one of the admins noticed it was ridiculous and unbanned me.

This CR-V Vibration Is Normal
On ’97–00 CR-Vs (A/T and M/T), a shudder or
vibration during hard acceleration and usually in 1st
gear is normal. The vibration is related to the angle of
the driveshafts and the torque being applied to them.
All CR-Vs share this characteristic.
