Sadly, I put the wrong size bushing on the front LCA that bolts to the inner subframe.I drove around like that for a day and i noticed the car pulling left and right under acceleration. I then took off the front control arm, and realized I used the wrong bushings. So I swapped the bushing with the correct one. Upon sliding the bolt back into place I had a little difficulty getting the inner LCA bolt through the sleeve. So half way through, I gave it a little nudge of the hammer-a light nudge, mind you- and the bolt went through. HOORAH! (Mind you the day before Auto X day!!) Unfortunately, that slight knock managed to bust out the inner nut that is welded to the subframe which keeps the bolt in place (probably caused by the swaying motion of the front LCA arms with the use of the wrong bushings). So now the bolt just slides in and out.
What are my options? I know I can take it to a shop to cut the subframe open and re weld on the nut. I got a quote for $200 =[. Anyone have any other ideas?

Cutting open the subframe is pretty much your only option.
In a pinch, you can use a dremel to cut small square into the subframe, then you can use a box wrench to hold the nut as you fasten down the bolt. This will get you up and running again. You can probably auto cross with no issues. But ultimately you will need to have a shop weld that bolt to the subframe, reattach the square cut out, and weld it closed.

Yeah...that's what it looks like. Just wanted to see if I had any other options at this point before dumping out $200.
