Picked up a front bumper w/support for the 90 crx and im trying to figure out why this "flat piece" thats sticking out is holding me back..

i clearly see where the bolt lines up and where it "clips" to the square bracket.

i feel like im missing something or probaly have the wrong piece. cuz im about to break that "flat piece" off

90/91 front bumper support?

its better brake it off becuase ur not gonna be able to put the support on it

yea, the part on your car already is from an HF. the HF bumper support is thinner than the DX/Si one you tried to put on. i would keep them the way they are so in case you ever go with a jdm front or switch to an HF support you will have more protection than just the lightweight support.

 

thats what happen on my crx i cut it off to put the support

 

i just put on a 90-91 bumper support on my 88 crx and i didnt have anything like that on there. never seen those before. I would just take it off it wont hurt anthing.

 

i deliberately put them on my EF8 front end. the first pic is what you need to have for your bumper support to fit right.


a little ghetto for me to mount my fogs like that, i know but it will do for now.

 

you probaly have an hf w/ the hf bumper support

 

yea my hf did have a re-enforcement bar, it only had a bumper support
