Default Stock block 10psi 438whp!

We just finished an S2000 setup for one of our longtime customers. The setup made crazy power per psi and has one of the best street powerbands I have seen.

Setup:
Synapseturbo T4 s2k Kit
T4 GT3076r
3" DP/Exhaust
ID1000cc Injectors
Tial 44mm Wastegate
Stock Block
AEM EMS

The customer is coming back for some racegas and more boost once the weather is a bit nicer.

Excellent results.

When you refer to stock block, do you mean stock everything. Or stock block with internals?

Just curious

Thanks

Would upgrading that type s BOV to maybe something like the bigger Type R valve help? I just made the switch once I went over 400whp per my tuners advice.

Did he consider the ATP 1.06 A/R Divided T4 turbine housing? He could probably pick up another 300-500 RPM in spool and retain the same top-end power, adding to the already awesome powerband.

Not to be the ******* in the group, but your title states 438WHP; whereas, your dyno plots the power as Flywheel Torque and HP rather than your claimed whp....it seems a semantic difference, but that truly does mean a different thing. I had to look around to find why your numbers were so unusually high...i'm certain thats the reason. If the power was measured at a typical 20% drivetrain loss, that would make it 350whp/248wtq. Those numbers are more realistic since following your power curve would yield FAR higher results than actually possible on higher boost. Your 10psi added 218+whp (rated on the crank numbers of the AP1)....extrapolate that over another 10psi and you're looking at adding 436hp to the factory 220whp for a total of 656hp....not something you could EVER expect from a single 30R

The dyno as explained many times comes from New Zealand reading that way, we have a 1.0 factor on the dyno thus, it is the true horsepower without any calculated drivetrain lose. Inaddition, psi is a restriction, these motors can consume a large volume with the proper parts, this is why at 10psi it is able to make this type of power. It is a brand new in box type-s, no knock offs here.

Here's a quick vid.

14psi(1 bar/1atmosphere) = double the power(440est) at 100% efficiency. Which its not going to ever be at.

a local guys s2000 4088r on 10 psi using 118 gas made 440 on a dynojet. these numbers are almost as high as mase's :p

All D-Packs show Flywheel, pay no attention to it. Its just a number that is meaningless at the end of the day its what it runs at the track that matters.

I understand and agree; however, the maliable masses who see unusually big power associated with a company are going to inevitably flock to that company. Also, the title of the thread is listed as WHP...note the 'W' which conveys something other than what is truly happening. I dont say this to be the *** in the group, nor am i convicting anyone of lying to the forum, but it is misrepresentative of the truth in that sense.

i don't understand the confusion. dynapacks label as flywheel power, even though its power at the hubs. imo its essentially the same at the hub or the 'wheels'. if he was to truly calculate flywheel hp, he would have to put it on an engine dyno.
