For Sale/Trade is a '96 Civic DX Hatchback - $2500 / trade
CAR WILL COME WITH '98 GSR ECU......
I HAVE A CONVERSION HARNESS AVAILABLE IF NEEDED-$$
- Silver in Color
- GSR Fat Fives with decent tread remaining
- CF Hood (faded from Sun)
- Typical Honda rust over wheel wells from N.E. weather....
The Good:
- B16A2 Block
- B16A2 Head with mild port and polish (You can even see how fresh the head looks)
- GSR Internals ( Valves, Springs, Retainers, Cams )
- GSR Tranny with ACT Stage 2 Clutch <---Nice and tight
- AEBS Intake Manifold w/ Hondata gasket
- Aftermarket 4-1 Headers
- AEM V2 Cold Air Intake
- 01' ITR Throttle Body & Cable
- Apexi WS2 Exhaust
- CTR replica black housing headlights w/ City light and Harness
- Interior is in GREAT condition
- Recently changed rotors / pads
The Not so Bad:
- It runs strong, but burns a decent amount of oil. No white smoke under load, only blue. A decent amount when you are coming to a light lets say, or in first from a stop. I havent been able to run a compression test, but if it were me i would recommend changing the rings atleast, possibly even the pistons as well. Motor ran strong with no mechanical issue at all for 3 summers.
- It will be sold with a '98 GSR ECU. It runs fine, it just does not engage VTEC. I have my harness and P28 from my other car in it at the moment and all works fine, but you will need to get a conversion harness and a P28 with a B16 basemap for best results. But like i said, with P28 all is fine. I have a Harness, but that will be negotiated in the price.....
- Its a DX so no tach in the cluster....
