my car was running perfectly fine, drove it to the store and came back, and when i went back to my car to leave, it started having these issues, when it idles its sputtery and it won't rev past 2900 when accelerating but if i drive the car and get to a higher gear and downshift it will pass 2900 rpms and sound normal. when i first looked at my car to see what was noticibly wrong with it i noticed my seals for my cylinders on my valve cover were torn on my 4th cylinder and i had a little bit of oil in there, so i changed all the seals for my valve cover, cleaned the oil out of the cylinder, put everything back together and it still wont rev past 2900, ive changed my dizzy, ecu spark plugs and wires, and ive disconnected my exaust. to see if any of those were the problems, still haven't found the problem and i need to get it fixed asap, no local mech shops will touch the car cause it has a engine swap and me nor any of my friends can figure out the problem, car swap is a 1992 honda civic vx hatch back with stock wiring harness and a 1998 d16y8 swap in it, the only thing left i can think of is a electrical problem, if any one can think of anything lmk asap. my phone number is 954-727-6107 text me if u know.
