Default I probably shouldn't ask this.....what size wheels would be best for me?

These are what I want.(Don't need negative opinions on the wheels) I can't decide 15" or 16".

I know, I can't get many tires in 16", but thats OK, I am not going roadracing with these, or drag racing.

I want what looks best, and will perform well. Plans are to lower the car a little...just to elimnate some wheel well gap.

And, what OFFSET should I go with? Planning on using 205/45/R?? tire if that makes a difference.

Ask me a question about engines, turbo's etc...I can probably answer it, but I don't know **** about suspensions and wheel setups!!

Four a coupe I think 16's look best. I personally have 15's on my coupe but I think they look small. I opinion is based on looks only though.

Well, for your situation, I'd say 16's.

16's are a little sexier than 15's, and you can get Falken Azenis' in that size, so you'll never be at a loss for street or autocross-able traction.

Tires will cost you maybe....$5-15 more apiece. If you can swing it, get the 16's. If not, 15's are better than 14's.

I say 16". I have 15" on my coupe only cuz I didn't feel like buying new tires. If you are gonna buy tires anyways, go with 16".

either should be fine.

what about SSR Comp wheels? 15x7 weighs only 9.5 to 11.5lbs depending on the offset and bolt pattern

Those or some Volk TE37s would be my number one choice...but look at the price? I could afford them, but I feel it is too much to pay.

If you have a coupe, 16"s. If you have a hatch, 15"s and dump that bitch!

Seriously, if you put 15"s on a coupe without lowering it significantly, it will look weird IMHO.

Oh and a 40-42mm offset should work fine (someone correct me if I'm wrong...).

Question: I had a very similar question about wheel size and i was looking into rota slips in 15" or 16". Could someone post a pick of 15's and 16's so that i can see the difference??? Thanks.

I'm also caught in between 15's or 16's for my Eg hatch. I know I want to get Gunmetal and leaning towards the Helium style wheel. Just not sure 15's or 16's. I hear 16's ride like 17's (pretty harsh on bumps) where 15's are more cushioned.

Any advice?

Thanks!
