Crosstour at Portland Autoshow
One thing they are missing on the option list, Xenon Headlamps, for 38K fully loaded I would like Factory Xenons.
Also, I wish they would come out with a stripped-down cloth seat 4-cylinder version with Real-Time 4WD and Navigation. That would keep it under 30K.
Nevertheless the Crosstour is a prime candidate to replacing my 07 Civic, depending on how the TSX wagon turns out.

Photographers concentrate on the huge grille and try to take quarter views that they're used to taking, and it just doesn't work with the Crosstour, just like it doesn't work with the TL and ZDX.
There was a different idea for the Accord instead of the Crosstour.

But if they'd gone this direction instead of the Crosstour, people would still find things to complain about.
Something that Honda really should reconsider is the pandering to reporters and fans who want to look at things far ahead of the release. The TL and the Crosstour might never recover their reputations from badly handled Internet peeks at the designs.
What they thought was a fan base turned into a bunch of rabid dogs very, very quickly. Overnight, in the case of the Facebook peek at the Crosstour.
It was like Facebook turned into Honda-Tech for a few days and it was just horrible.
But cars like the Crosstour are dynamic visual designs. They don't photograph well...but that doesn't mean you won't like the way they look in person, and moving and driving.
Also, cars like the Crosstour and ZDX might not be aimed at people you think they're aimed at. They're more aimed at middle class grown ups whose children have left them, or who don't have children for whatever reason. People criticise the rear seat head room in the ZDX, but Acura says you're more likely to find a Labrador in the back seat.
You might say that the Crosstour is aimed at one level of empty nesters, and the ZDX at another level of empty nesters.
I know you're not going to believe me but if you are in the market for something like this, you should probably see one up close and moving/driving.

i dont understand what is with this new thing with turning decent cars into glorified wagons/hatchbacks or whatever. Subaru did it recently with the WRX... Took an awesome car and made it ugly. Thankfully though Honda didnt make the whole accord line like the crosstour, which is what Subaru did with the WRX.
Im not hatin on the crosstour, if you like it then you like it, i just think its a glorified hatchback, which i dislike strongly.
