Default D16z6 into an EF help

Im thinking of doing D16z6 swap into my ef. Which would be a better choice a Minime or a the D16z6 motor? I have no motor in the car now, but do have the parts to do either motor? I was wondering what i would need to get to do the D16z6 motor, as i only have the engines.

if i had the option i would just get a running z6. a lot of time people run into complications with mini-me's. you throw a newer head with new gasket on the top end and then wonder why the bottom end goes out. now if the bottom end is in real good shape than you may just want to go that route. to run either motor you need to convert to obd1 with an ecu jumper and run a p28 ecu. you will also have to run wires into the engine bay for the vtec pressure switch, vtec solenoid, and 4 wire o2 sensor. lastly you will need to either repin or use an obd0 to obd1 dizzy adapter to plug in your new distributor.
