Clunking under my feet..
Ok so this whole ordeal started about a week ago. i have a 1997 accord 2.2.. i have this loud clunking noise that i can feel under my feet on the drivers side. It clunks constantly and today it just got really bad. When i turn right the clunking gets louder and when i turn left it quiets down. sometimes when i accelerate and decelerate it stops but it always comes back.
im scared to drive it, till i fix it, because i dont want something to happen when im driving.
please help me out i dont want to sit and replace a bunch of useless parts and i need to fix this quick...

it really sounds like cv's. if they are clunking at all times they are pretty worn...
mine only clunk in turns and they have been doing it for the last 20,000 miles...

ask the guy putting tires on to check the suspension for looseness, having it up on a lift is a good time to check.

you should be able to confirm the axles are ok by turning the wheel to lock and shining a flashlight at the axle boot. although not an absolute, usually if the boot isn't cracked or torn the axle is fine.
