Default 90 Integra need help

Im ready to drop a different tranny and engine in. Im thinking alont a b18c1.

What mods will I need to make? Will it just slip in with no mods?

Do I have a cable tranny currently or hydro? Does it matter which I get?
Thanks Im new but am ready to convert.

That's kind of pointless to drop the B18C1 GSR tranny into a non-vtec engine, the gearing will be very ineffective for the LS motor, However if you hve a 1990 (as do I) check out http://www.g2ic.com go to there "tegtips" section > engine > engine guide
That will tell you everything you need to know about our cars... Take it easy

a b18c1 will take a bit of work. you'll need to either convert to obd-1 or change all the sensors on the motor to obd-0 so you can use a pr3 or pw0 ecu. You will also have to get a different intake manifold from a b16 or type r or aftermarket maker. Lastly, it would be easier to get a jdm s1 tranny because its already cable and its got shorter gears than the gsr tranny.

Definitely check out www.g2ic.com and the teg tips section . There is a guide on engine swaps for 90-93 models.
