Don't go Rota man! Get some Drags, they're the real deal.
But seriously, what I am doing actually at the moment. I have a set of Rota Auto-X's that I bought just to use them to see how 15's would fit, how to adjust the suspension and to see how the color combo worked. I have a set of Mugen's I'm saving to slap on when the times right.
In all, buy Rota's, until you get more familiar with the Honda scene and know what you're looking for. DOn't just go out and spend 1300 on rims that will make you look "Cool".

here are my bbs rs mesh that i restored.
my suggestion would be to save up and get legit wheels and do it right the first time and get what you really want. it is well worth the wait.

dear god, those bbs's are so sexy. alright, so legit rims the 1st time. cool
now with the color, i was thinking horizon gray pearl as a paint job on a car, the paint has tints of purple and blue in different lightings. I think purple would look nice and you dont usually see purple rims, but the only thing is... with both colors on rims, i think that they look best when its thicker spokes, like jmags, instead of thinner spokes, like slips. Thats why i need more pictures!!! i love your bbs rims. imma steal them

A buddy of mine at school had some purple slips, the were pretty cool for a while. Until you noticed they were Slips..
lol... get some used wheels off of honda-tech classifieds or nwp4life classifieds or ebay or yahoo japanese auctions or memoryfab.
you should be able to find some decent used legit wheels for 600-1400. then the rest is up to you. find a powder coater locally and pick a color you like. if any polishing and what not is needed then do that.
i think a bright purple or bright blue with look mean.
my wheels have 40+ man hours of restoring (taking them apart, sanding and buffing every lip and bolt, and reassembling. in them and paid $240 for the candy powder coating.
infrared: your wheels are beautiful. i love your center caps.
thanks for the compliments on the wheels everyone.

will do! but the only problem is having a used rim will mean it will have curb rash or the marked up lips, how much does that usually cost, and doesnt it not look normal after?
and your welcome, but your rims are sexy

my rims had light rash on a few lips when i got them... in the stripping/sanding/buffing portion of the restore the rash all but was elimated. there is a spot or 2 where you can still see it but it isnt bad at all. no one ever even notices. if you get 3 piece wheels you can always buy a new lips for $150-$250 later on if you wanted too. single piece wheels would need to be repaired by a shop. never done it though so i dont know how it looks afterward.
thanks again.

depends what you are going for and what car they are going on. mine are 16x8 +32 and i think i could use a 10mm in the rear and maybe a 5 mil up front.. my next set up wheels will be 16x8.5 +20 probably.
