Hi, I have a 91 accord. I last drove it in Oct. and now I need to drive it agin. I just but in a new battery and I get nothing when I turn the key. There are no head lights, no dash lights, but the horn works. I am lost on this and have no clue where to start. Anyone have any clues? Thanks!!!

 

Check your ground connection; especially, the ground terminal connector.

 

also check the MAIN relay under the dash it may collect moisture and default had to replace mine after car sat for like 6 months in the garage. also check your wires to see if any lil animals has been nibbling on them .

 

Thanks guys... I just found the battery fuse is blown, the 80 amp under the hood. Its funny why did the horn work? what would make a fuse this large go bad, 80amps is a lot of juice. That relay your talking about can be resolder instead or replacing them, mine is staring to go out on me from time to time.

 

Anyone know why the 80 amp would blow?
