97 auto dx w/ D16Y7 120k miles
just replaced spark plugs (gapped .38) and wires

Runs fine until I get to a red light then try to get goin again. As soon as I get on the gas it sputters like its out of gas. It has half a tank. I added water remover because I thought maybe the lines were frozen but it didnt help.

Ive also had problems with the tranny. It gets to the shift point but doesnt shift, revs real high then slams into next gear. I adjusted the throttle linkage and shifter cable and no change. I checked the tranny fluid and its burnt. Cant decide if it changing the fluid would help or make it worse.

Suggestions?
