my butterfly valve is brokennn. i THINK it's stuck open but im not sure if its open or closed. i want to know if i'm losing power like this. if i am i'm just gonna go buy a skunk 2 intake mani but if not i'll keep this one for a while. i could really use the cash for other things. help is greatly appreciated.

Be more specific about which valve. The only butterfly valve on the intake is the throttle. You mean the IACV or FITV?

 

The IAB, your definently losing mid-range. Swap it out for an aftermarket unit.

 

^^ agree its hurting your mid-range power! I would go with skunk2 or victor x.

 

whats iab? it's the valve on the right of my intake mani that opens when you make vaccum.

and i'd love to get a skunk 2 manifold and i will but right now i could use the money for other things. if i'm losing power i will though.
