OT: Better Ride Feel for an Older Car
Slightly OT but I think ITR Owners are still the best..
My 93 SI is so different from My R.. I feel that the 2 should come a little closer in terms of ride/handling and braking.. (Not power)
What do I need for the EG to get closer to the R?
what I feel now is that the car leans too much when turning..
also shaky when running 90+ MPH or Braking hard..
will new shock/springs take care of it? or do I need to replace arms/bushings and other suspension related parts?
what is involved in 5 lug conversion so that my EG can share the R tires?
TIA.

Replace all suspension bushings, shocks and springs.
Get an alignment and rebalance all the rims.
That should make a big difference.

I'm one for chasis reinforcement. Yes, getting springs (especially shocks like Bilsteins or Koni Yellows) will offer a drastic improvement over the older "softer" ones, but the uni-body construction of these vehicles leaves much to be desired. If you can't go the roll cage route, then at least reinforce the chasis on the strut tower tops, along with the lower counterparts to these (if available). Further, a C-pillar bar would make a big difference as well.
