Alright, so I have a 96 accord ex, which is a great car, except for recently, whenever I lock my car, the passenger side locking mechanism makes a weird grinding type noise. The door will still lock, and the sound will go on for about 2 seconds. I have took off the padding on the door with the idea that the motor may be rubbing against something but came up with nothing.

Anyone have any ideas on what/how can this problem be fixed?
