Icon6 OBD1 Distributor help.

I have a quick question, I just received my distributor last night and noticed the little “cam shaft” that stick out (with 2 teeth lol) has a lot of play. I compared it to my old dizzy and it has no play. I then noticed the new dizzy doesn’t have what appears to be 2 washers or lock rings? Does anyone have any information on how to take them of so I can take them off my old dizzy and install them on my new one? Or can you point me in the right direction.

New dizzy is obd1 for my B6
Old dizzy obd1 off of my Z6

Thanx!

To take them off there is a snap ring just below the end piece with 2 prongs
