b16 wont run right; 90 teg, please help
i recently bought a 90 teg with a b16 that needed a new distributor to run. it had sat for about 6 months not running. i pulled the old dizzy to find that it was totally busted, and ordered a new one. the car fired right up with the new dizzy and seemed to sound okay, so i filled it with some premium and fuel system cleaner.
i left it run for a half hour or so and the check engine light came on (i dont know the code though because the blinking red light is broken). the temp was going up and when i gave it gas it seemed to miss a little, and gain rpms very slowly.
any ideas what this could be from?
Also, after about an hour it used no antifreeze, however, what looks to be water is leaking from the end of the cat.

jump the ecu for your CEL. if the CEL comes on then you should be able to jump the ecu. use a timing gun to check your ignition timing and make sure its dead on. and i have no clue by you saying it uses no antifreeze????? if there isnt any coolant in your system then your motor will overheat. fill it up and bleed your coolant system as neccessary
