Comptech Lower Tie Bar/Sway
Hello guys,
I own a 1998 gs-r and just picked up 2001 type r. I'm in the process of deciding which parts to swap over from the gs-r to the type r. I was wondering if the comptech rear lower tie bar/brace is compatible with the type r and the oem sway bar? I would love to keep the bar if it's compatible.

The Comptech bar is 22mm, which is also the same as the stock usdm bar. The tie bar is not compatible, your type-r has one already too.
Keep those on the GS-R...
Keep those on the GS-R...
Thanks for replies. I'm selling my GS-R and would like to keep some of the compatible "bling" parts. Too bad my comptech ice box won't fit either! As you can see, I like comptech, but nothing fits on my type R.
The icebox will fit fine if you use the stock intake arm. You can definitely do that, and it will work quite well. Just use the stock intake arm...
Nothing wrong with what you did with the GSR, I owned a GSR for many years. If you're selling it and cannot put the stock parts back on, sell the comptech sway/tie with it. However, you can definitely transfer the icebox (box and intake velocity stack) over to any Integra.
