I just picked up the swap which is a b18c.
The guy gave me a set of mounts but they don't fit the swap. The bolt holes do not line up on the trans. Therefore I beleive all I have to do is buy the mounts for a hydraulic trans, but before I do that I'd like to know if I need to change the mount with the two studs on the drivers side of the engine or will the hydro mounts simply line up!

Second question: the engine lost the vin # and I'd like to know exactly what engine I have, the block has b18c the number right under it is 1909923(if helps), the tranny is a ysk-2.

 

you may need the engine bracket from a 90-93 teg on the drivers side mount before it lines up. if your block is only labeled b18c with no numbers right after then you have the ITR block.

WELL is the block obd2?? is there a crank sensor on the oil pump?

 

It is obd11 for a fact
