ready for a clutch...
So.. my clutch is starting to slip and I need some advice on getting a new clutch. Here are the vitals...
89 civic hatchback dx 5 speed with a d16a6 motor swap
custom 2.25 inch catback exhaust
I will be adding a short ram cold air intake to it with the clutch swap and an aftermarket tachometer. I am also going to add a lightened flywheel as I am a rather agressive driver. I appreciate the help and thanks in advance.

well theres many clutch kits available for your ef...what do you wanna spend? do you want oem or aftermarket? exedy makes good clutch kits. i have an act stage 3 clutch disc and 7lb flywheel on my d15b.
id stick with a exedy oem replacement clutch kit. you'd be amazed how a new clutch and PP feels, even if its oem. just make sure you know exactly what year tranny you have. i have an 88 dx and so i got the corresponding kit for it but when i tore it down i found out i had a 91 tranny, lol so i got stucked with an extra 88 21 spline kit.
anyways my vote is a new oem kit.

I am looking at after market clutch maybe act and I have more mods planned for later that is why I am looking at act, exedy, center force, ect... I was pretty much looking at a stage one for my car. I was looking at possibly upgrading my flywheel to a 90-91 so I can use the 90 clutch
