Default Want to build my LSVTEC.... advice suggestions plz?

ok right now im working with an obd1 b18-(b?) Ls block with a obd2 b16a2 head, b16 tranny in my EG hatch. Everything is stock I got bolt ons... aem cai, skunk2 intk mani, dc headers, 3 in exhaust, walboro 255 n thats pretty much it. On the side I have some gsr cams, gsr crank and some 650cc injectors but thats it. I was debating on boosting the lsvtec but i want to see where i can go with all motor.

Im just wondering what steps i should take to build this up. I want to be able to run hard with other hatches. Ive never raced the car yet but i drove my friends built gsr eg hatch and it felt stronger. I know i should get a full valvetrain upgrade and i was gonna get a bored out throttle body but as far as cams, pistons, ?cylinder bore, crank and tranny i need some help on what you think would work best. I can take it to a machineshop but id like to get some ideas first.

Can anyone help with my setup? I would like to keep as much as i can like the block tranny n head unless strongly advised against. Alot of people tell me gsr trans or ls trans would be alot better then the b16. Im not to knowledgable so if anyone could help id apprieciate it.

GSR cams will not give you much but if they are free it may be worth the upgrade. On the stock LS bottom end they are about the maximum of what I would consider safe, If you have the ability upgrading to ITR valve train wouldn't be a bad idea. And no need for the bigger injectors, and skip the throttle body for now.

Getting DYNO TUNED would be the absolutely best improvement you can make.

B16 trans MUCH MUCH better for your setup, someone is trying to rip you off.

Please take some time and read some threads, if you have a question it has been asked before and answered already. Basic questions like this clutters up the forum and makes you look bad.

AND remember KISS (keep it simple silly)

thanks for the help its just hard for me to understand bores and clearances and such CR etc.

The injectors i bought for when i had a sohc motor in it and was going to boost so im still kinda on the fence on boosting it but leaning more towards all motor. What do you mean the GSR cams are at the maximum of what u consider safe? The ITR valve train better then say a Blox or Sk2?

So ill stick with the b16 trans, should i swap out the ls crank for my gsr crank and have it balanced n polished? Sorry for all the questions ill be searching for my answers
