Default 94 accord transaxle shift cable pin removal.

Well I been trying to remove the shift cable pin known as the ***ch pin or roller pin has been almost impossible to move.

Not knowing what I was getting into I tried to pull it with needle nose pliers. It hasn't budged. Since I've undone the engine mounts... The whole engine lifts up while I try to pull the pin from the top with needle noise pliers.

Seeing that fail. Im trying to beat the pin from under the car with a 8 mm punch and hammer.

Is there a better technique that you guys know?

I appreciate the help.
