would da mirrors fit on an 89 crx? i have power folding mirrors from my previous da, i tried selling them but no luck. so i wanted to retrofit them onto my crx. im sure i can get them to bolt up but how would i wire them being that my current mirrors arent power. i heard i can use the legend heated mirror switch to act as the folding switch, how an i do this?

 

You can use that switch to work for you, but you will need to mod the harness to work with the switch. And you will also need the power folding mirror relay or a series of universal relays.

I use a legend switch as back up for my orm ef8 power folding switch, the only down side to using a legend switch is that you have to double press the switch to have them fold in and re open

 

more info please. is there any digrams or anybody that would be willing to tell me how to wire these? i can get some universal relays, about how many? what mods need to be done to the harness? thanx in advance

 

for the relay, you would need 2 universal relays. you have to treat them like power door locks. both the power door locks and mirrors use a positive/negative alternating pulses to open and close the mirrors. im working on making a harness for an EG's power folding mirrors using universal relays. i can post my outcome on Monday after i install them on Sunday.

 

can u do that for me please? im really good with wiring. but i just started messing with relays and learning about them so i can follow a diagram to the T. i installed power locks on my da, so i know i can do this
