Default H23 IAB removal

I just got my 70mm T-body in the mail and I am in the process of porting the mani. Now my real question is how bad is the loss from removing the IAB's? I know I will lose a little low end power, but I have more than enough at the moment, I am more worried about cleaning up the engine bay and making it run a little more reliably. What all do I need to remove in addition to the middle plate, does anything need to be replaced? Should I gut the IAB's and re-install them? Thanks in advance guys!!!

TTT, one question and I'm done, does it have ANYTHING to do with idle, or the ECU? Does ANYTHING have to be done to the car after removal? Well thats 2, but whatever, lol

the proper way to do it would be to remove the iab plate completely and also remove the iac valve and replace it w/ a block off plate. also make a solid tb gasket to block off the air passages going into the tb flange on the manifold.

Wait, I would need to remove the IACV also? What does that have to do with the IAB's? Not questioning you, just trying to figure all this out.
