Default b16a 1st gen

i have a b16a in my 91 civic hatch. i need to replace the oil pan gasket, what year and model should i ask for.(I dont know where the engine came from) I want to buy the parts before dropping the oil pan. Someone told me my engine is the 1st generation b16a. Any suggestion will be awesome. thanks.

I used a gasket for a 99-00 Si B16A2, same gasket

Just make sure you dont over torque it and crush the metal grommets.

Crush the metal grommets? You will break the studs/bolts before you could ever crush those.

You can use any B-Series (B16 or B18) pan gasket... When you are getting parts you will be most likely more compatible with 90-92 Integra parts (cap and rotor, sensors, ect). If you need B16 specific like internal parts then use a Del Sol VTEC (1995 DOHC).

The reason for the Integra is if you need to replace oh let's say an injector, and you go with a 99-00' SI then it will now work without modification to your vehicle.
