i have a 72 AN600.. pretty rough right now.. the motor is junk but the body is fair.. i am thinking about installing a d15b7 turbo in the rear and making it rear wheel drive... i figure if i use narrowed civic suspension i can have a pretty fun little car...

anyone have an extra hood they would part with? everthing on mine else is useable the hood blew off mine in a snow storm and a friend ran it over... if i have to build 1 i guess i do... let me know.. thanks

 

I know where there are a few of n600. Ill see if they wanna sell one of the hoods. Will let you know.

i have a 72 n600 im working. Can anyone recommend a mechanic to rebuild the engine? anywhere in socal area....

 

rebuilt engine and transmission on ebay for $1200... i dont think u can rebuild one for that...

However due to his caliber of work. I’d say you would pay a pretty penny to have him rebuild a motor but you never know. If you do speak w/him let us know what he says.

im going to have a 70 n600 for sale by this coming Saturday. its complete its just missing a few things here and there like some glass and some interior panels the motor is complete its just apart ill probably be asking $400 obo for it let me know if any one is interested.

man a 70 N600 is a pretty good find. Most cars that are out there are either 71 or 72. That means your car is one of the 1st production runs of n600 that came into california.

Good luck on the sale. If you decide to part it out. There is a guy on here looking for a hood and Id be interested in parts too.

 

i need to get some pics, but my dad has a fully restored 70 n600. he is in need of a windshield right now though....he was fixing a headlight wiring issue under the dash, decided to pull the dash....and some how cracked the windshield in the process lol

anyone have any good leads on a good condition windshield?

 

from what i know its a 70 but ill know for sure this weekend when i pick it up. the reason why i bought it for was cuz i need the windshield too and some little things here and there. img going to see if i can sell it as hole but if no one wants it ill let you guys know if i part it out. I know Tim has some windshields right now now but he was 300 for them.

 

I know windsheilds are not very common & when are sold they go for $$$. How are the seats in the car your picking up? Dash pad?

 

welp, my dad just called Tim, sounds like he is going to pick up a windshield from him thanks for the help!!

 

i know the rear seats are missing the front seats looked ok and the dash looked fine but i cant remember ill let you know

 

ok, correction....when my dad talked to Tim, he THOUGHT he had a good windshield....turns out he doesnt.

so we are in the market for one again....and also the seal around the window....Tim said he had a hookup for that, just waiting on a return call.

 

I have one posted for sale in the old honda for sale thread... its a 70, n and has been in sfv since it was brought here. Rustless car, motor has already been gone threw. Please buy it!

 

Car looks very complete when it was one piece. Even has the trim around the window rubber. What numbers are on the vin tag? I wonder how early of a production this car was in 1970???

yo norcal510 the car is clean and has every part. the car ran when I purchased it. The motor has been rebuilt after sitting in the parts washer and I have brand new tires. It is one of the first cars to the US as it spent the first 20 years of its life brought over to a military base in san fernando which is now Van Nuys Airport. The bumpers still sport 10+ years of base bumper stickers.
