4th gear out, 3rd gear now on the verge

I have a cable y1 b16 transmission that is definitely old. I have had to tear it apart to put a new mainshaft bearing in once but over time, 4th gear started to go out and it doesn't work everytime, even if the shift forks have moved. I can get it into gear but once I let out the clutch, the shifter vibrates and kicks out a little bit.
Now 3rd gear is also starting to do it. I'm guessing it's maybe the sleeve going bad but not sure? I'm thinking about going this route right here but am wondering if it's maybe the teeth on the gears themselves?

Any input would be appreciated

You need to take the trans apart and inspect. Very good chance you have the teeth the sleeve engages to rounded off on 4th and possibly on 3rd. Best case, you need sleeve kit. Worst case, sleeve kit, 3rd, 4th, and some other parts that have worn due to trans just being old.
May as well bust it open and see what all is really wrong then determine whether it's cheaper to fix yours or just go ahead and find a YS1 and put hydro internals of your choice in...

Thanks for the input, I was thinking it was probably the sleeve at the least as well. I sold my ys1 transmission but am wishing I kept it for hydro internals because this b16 tranny has been nothing but trouble. If I'm getting a sleeve kit, I'm just gonna order the kit with the carbon synchros and put my 2nd gear sleeve from my other transmission on if it's worn.
Thanks again
