If you value suspension travel you do

 

Just the front is sufficient.

 

What kind of drop are you going for?

 

Front is all I run. I've never had a bottom out issue on my rear shocks.

 

Front only, rear has plenty of travel.

 

You only need them for the front (if you ride slammed).....I had them all around on my crx and i loved them (gc/koni w/ 4 tophats).....

 

Check on ebay. They have knockoff top hats now for like $60! But just the front should need them

Yea, I'm getting them as soon as I have the money. Ground control has some competition now so maybe they will lower their prices.

 

Except, if these eBay knockoffs aren't designed correctly, and don't allow the shock body up into the "top hat" under suspension compression, then they'll offer nothing beneficial and only act as a droop limiter...
