Default D15B & D15B2 question

I need to know if the internal parts of these two engines are the same.the D15B2 came in a 89 crx. we bought a D15B(non vtec) from japan. it came from a 92-95 civic and had duel carbs. i want to change rod bearings and want to make sure I get all the right parts before I take it apart. any help would be great..

Thanks

Default Re: D15B & D15B2 question

so long as its not a D15B Vtec motor which if it has carbs it isn't than yes they are the same. The only differences in the B7/b2 motors are the cams and intakes other than that the same
