97 accord Lx wont idle done it all... err so i think.. help a brotha!
Hey bought a bucket the other day for 800 bucks, or should i say a month ago. patched the radiator did some body.. now on to the dilemma
intially had rear o2 sensor.code for cel. replaced 02 sensor, seafoamed and reset. engine light came back on during this time the car was stalling slightly after warm up. so had codes read again. and obtained the misfire and egr codes. 0300 03001 03002 and an egr code. thanks to you guys here, i went on to adjust the fitv cleaned the aicv and cleaned the egr system out that was completely clogged. car started and ran the same, but still same stalling problems, replaced cap rotor and wires, pcv valve was stuck also replaced that. resest ecu and took off. the car is stalling in much worse fashion as to say it will idle when cold and then a short couple stop sign to stop sign visits and its stall city big time.. its like the fuel is getting shut off. i have to keep pumping the gas to keep er goin. i messed with the idle screw which didnt raise or lower the idle at all,, that confused me. did my best not to put up a post that is a rehash, but i cant figure it out. NO MORE cel's for over a week now just this extremely bad stalling issue. I read that after resestting ecu you are to let the engine idle to the point the fans kick on a couple times. i didnt do that. Can it be that simple that the ecu didnt calibrate correctly?
