JDM password
1. It's PasswordJDM
2. Heard nothing but bad things about them. I've seen 10+ people sell them after having them on their cars for a week.
3. You absolutely need to relocate the battery.

Yup listen to this guy. I had the PWJDM intake and didn't even put it on. I got a K&N Typhoon instead.
the thing about the pwjdm is that its dry carbon with a thin layer of resin on top.
and you can see the holes through the weave in the intake. my friends have had this intake and they liked them until they saw the holes in the intake and sold em right away.
and btw, all passwordjdm intakes need a battery relocator.

Yep i bought it for my 07 si and people told me i shoud look into it and didnt must say looks cool but not worth the money at all im gona go with injen or aem on mine now, and yes you need the relocating kit for thae batt.
More broken record here, it's dry CF. Most people simply prefer something they know will pull all air from the filter and not from tiny holes all over...or the seams that have shown signs of splitting on some people's.
in my opinion, and intake is an intake. i have an fg2 and just installed an aem cai this past saturday. why the aem over the other intakes such as password jdm's? because i felt that at the end of the day, an intake is an intake. it seems that all intakes for our beloved k20z3's will only give from +8hp to +11hp... so even if password jdm's is the best, are the $500 worth the extra 3-4hp's (i got my aem cai on amazon for $200 brand new!)?
but i will admit, the pw jdm's is one sexy lookin intake and it loooks amazing installed along with the pw carbon cooling plate...

About the battery relocation...from the pics I've seen, it seems pointless. It is not as though the batter would be any lower, it would just be a little up and to the left, but still in the way.
No...it puts the battery directly below it's stock location. The top of the relocated smaller battery is about where the bottom of the oem one would be.
I am referring to the PWJDM relocation kit, so maybe you saw pics of a different company's kit or a DIY version?

For whatever reason, the prepreg. used on these seems to have too many tiny holes and the seams have been reported as weak. I don't know if this is due to a poor batch of dry CF or what, but they are showing glaring problems most people expect to not be present on such a costly intake.
Any other time I would totally agree that dry is superior to wet in strength and uniformity. I have seen similar issues on poor quality dry CF sheets before, and also seen similar occur because of poor curing.

1) The Password Intake is UGLY
2) I have heard nothing but bad things about it
3) PWJDM is trying to market off of an intake system that was built for a specific car/motor and adapt it to anything that moves. The new venturi style intakes that they have on Fits and 8th gen civics look like they were just thrown together without any real R&D. J's Racing built the PowerChamber intake for the EK/EG/DC because it was proven to work. PWJDM copied that, saw an easy marketing plan they could adapt and re-use, and monopolized on that.
If this was a real working intake dont you think J's racing would continue making power chamber intakes for other cars. These kill throttle response and do nothing. Get a regular CAI, X-Intake, or something similar.
If you want the baller looks, look into the mugen intake, thats a sexy looking peace with a reputable company known for extensive R&D
Oh and did i mention that the PWJDM intake is FUGLY

I live in Florida, so should I not get a cold air bc it can suck water in? Am I being to paranoid? I dont wanna screw up a 5k motor. So would a short ram be smarter?

their strut bars are sh*t too. my friend had one on his em1 and it cracked on the towers where the welds are. but i must admit, i do love going there to buy things, just not their own products.
