Default Common reason for this...

Usually I would not post in this forum but this involves a 92 EG8 M/T. I need a common reason why the check engine light would come after the car is warmed up, no consistency though. Goes off when the car is turned off. Read in the search achieve that a bad ecu might cause this? Any input is appreciated.

Pull the code, and list it here. Without it, there really isn't any way for someone to make suggestions here.
