ordered the item of the name "DARTON FLANGED SLEEVE:B16" p/n: 300-012

and got the box which had "replacement flanged sleeves" written on it. contained inside a paper mentioning that it's the dry type.

I think those are just Darton type OEM replacements that are stronger. How much were they? My MIDs were around $900 a few years ago just for the sleeves and I throw almost 30lbs on them.

they told me yesterday it would take 20 psi of boost after i listed my application.

59mm inducer. 1.6l 81.5 bore

wondering how they got this estimate. hp/per boost or max boost imposed... i asked them again now.

they also told me wet vs dry is wet have more support upper area and it does not rely on the stock casting like the dry.

btw, nice sleeve, looks tough

really??? this has me worried... i'll take those pictures to Darton immediatley.

i paid $68.75/per sleeve. for "DARTON FLANGED SLEEVE:B16/81mm (EA)"

edit: looks like i choose the wrong ones from the price diff alone...

thanks

Yes i think you purchased the wrong ones i would go with the mids like in the pics i posted above. That price seems a little cheap for sleeves. Most are around 900 like zedron paid.

Yeah, thats really low. They must be OEM type replacements or something. The DARTON sleeves that you hear everyone talk about are really high. Like I said mine were almost $900 a few years ago, they should be around 600-700 now.

i'll try those since they can handle 20 psi easily like Darton said but that's beside the fact that i didn't choose the one i needed i guess live and learn, we will see how much power it'll take

maybe cheap + fast??? just maybe?? lol

thanks guys
