has anybody had the problem where you cam case had a loud rattle to it when you started it but once it warmed up then i went away. well mine did that for about a year and i couldnt figure out what it was. now my car runs like crap and it rattles alot louder. any ideas of what it could be. any help would be great thanks.

 

That ticking you hear coming from under the valve cover is most likely your rockers/valves. If you have your valves adjusted it should quiet down. However, If you have let it go for too long. You may have done damage to an adjusting nut or valve. Lets hope getting a valve adjustment is all that you need.
