You can maybe claim the car as a "gift", but I believe you have to put down a minimum of $500 IIRC

I just always put that I piad 200-500 for the car and pay the taxes. If you put it as a gift you have to pay taxes on the value of the car.There's no way around it that I know of.

Is that the going rate? I always thought it was much cheaper. ~$450 cheaper.
