Looks as though it's EG/DC/EK but did you buy it without knowing what it fits?

its definitely a Cusco, can you place it on top where your shockmounting points are and take a pic, is it too long or short?

EK and EG are usually different by a little. If you want to try it on my Del Sol pm me.

No no no no no.

EG, EK, DC are all the same. Doesn't matter, 92-00 Civic, 93-97 del Sol, and 94-01 Integra all have the exact same strut bar mounting -- regardless if it mounts to the shock tower or the top hat.

Same with the rear bars, negating any "clearance" issues with other panels, or bars that have cross-pieces to bolt to other parts of the trunk flooring.

So why is there different part #'s for Ek and EG?

There are often different part numbers for interchangeable parts. Your "proof" is lacking and does not disguise the fact that you are wrong.

In fact, when speaking of Cusco, you're even wrong about different part numbers. A Cusco Type OS strut bar has the same part number for an EG6/EG9, EK4, and EK9 -- 315 540A. Added to that, that the Integra and Integra Type R (DC/DB) both use the 315 540A Type OS bar as well.

What you may be getting confused on is that they make a Type AS bar for the EG6/EG9 (315 510A), and a Type ST bar for the EK4/EK9/DC2/DB8 (311 510A). The part numbers are similar, but they are for a different design all together.

So put that in your pipe and smoke it.

in the past I have had some shock tower bars not clear my intake manifolds when switching between chasis, but checking the cusco Jp site you are correct the OS is the same part #.

Intake manifolds have nothing to do with the chassis of the vehicle.

Most strut bars won't clear the airbox on a vehicle with a D16Y7 (ie, 96-00 Civic CD/DX/LX, and 96-97 del Sol S) due to the intake manifold, but that does not mean the chassis of the vehicle is to blame.

RE:its definitely a Cusco, can you place it on top where your shockmounting points are and take a pic, is it too long or short?

Im not sure how anyone finds that to be even close to a cusco brand, I may just be wrong but all cusco bars that I've seen, have a logo, and are clored, your looks like some one spray painted it, can you safetly scrach any paid away to see if theres anonther color? and all cusco bars i've seen have seen have curved or complete round circles where the bar mounts the the top of the strut, right????
Example:
and it doesn't look like it would fit any honda strut front or rear, just look at the mounting holes their right beside each other, tell me any car, import or domestic that you know of that has strut bolts that appear to be 1in apart and that close together???????? whatever you paid is to much, and if it was free its to big to be a paper weight anyway,
and if im wrong please tell me

Thanks

What you've shown is a Cusco Type-OS. They also make a "Type-R" style bar that bolts to the strut bar studs, instead of the shock tophat. That's what we're talking about.
