Default Fuel problem i guess? 90 Crx si

I had a pretty odd experience today i was driving down the road probably went about 20 miles down the road and i was looking at the gauges and the water temp level was even and it works it was'nt running hot. Well the rpm meter dropped i noticed to 0 and the engine cut completely off so i coasted at 75mph till i got to a access rd. The funny thing is the battery was fine cause the radio and head lights were still on while i was coasting with the car off to stop. But when i tried to start the car it kicked over and when i gassed it it shut down on me or sounded like it was starving for fuel or was not getting enough. I dont know what it is but i waited like a full minute and it started right up and ran fine but it does it often now so i dont know what it could be it has to be fuel! the guy told me it was the main relay and i dont see how that is possible since the power was still on.

Because if it was the main relay it would not start at all then and its not overheating at all. It just fuel i believe.

If you have any ideas i would appreciate any suggestions that you have on what it could be.

You will know if it's the main relay by checking to see if it makes a clicking sound as you turn the key to the different positions. It's located under the dash on the driver side.
It almost sounds as if your connection from your tps may be coming loose. My car would cut out every now and then and that was my problem.
Hope this helps.
