Default f22 help

i have a f22a1 motor and i want to know if i can drop the h22 vtec head on it is it posible and wat do i have to do plz help me out

i dont think it will fit since f22 are non vtec.. and h22 is.. so i think it made in different way..

i always liked the f22. mine ran good in my old accord. but then again mine was just lowered on rims n kept simple to cruise around in

It will fit but not worth the trouble IMO.

Do a complete DOHC H22 or SOHC F22B1 if all you want is VTEC.

You have to remember that you already have a head with great port geometry. That is known to flow extremely well. What more are you looking for? Is VTEC the only reason for this swap? With an F tranny and stock bottom end your not going to hit VTEC liek you would in an H22 anyway.

On the other hand. I would say stick with the F22A1. There is a lot of aftermarket support for the SOHC F22 heads now a dayz. Plus I would say that it's cheaper to build an F22A1 head than it is an H22. The F22A1 only has 1 cam, single springs and no F#@king VTEC crap to get in the way.

sounds like a lot of work, for not so impressive gains.

If you have the money why don't you get yourself a bolt on turbo kit?
My buddy rocks 7 psi all day on a stock bottom end, no problem.
Think about it.
