Default 1996 Integra with JDM GSR tranny and idling problems

hello guys, I have a 1996 Integra, which I converted to 5 speed, and for a while everything worked great, but recently my car has been having trouble going into all gears. It was really hard to put it in.
While in the process of trying to throw it into reverse, the gears start scrapping, not exactly grinding. At first I thought it was the short shifter the linkage came with. I replaced it with an OEM shifter and now all gears except reverse work great and feel like butter. My car lately has been revving high (2000 and at times 3000RPM) while in neutral. Sometimes, after driving for a few minutes, the the RPMs fix themselves..... Any ideas on what the problem is????

Thanks

Coolant and bleed the sys for the idle issue. Tranny not going into rev is tricky but it sounds like u probably just need to push the clutch in and them give it a sec (and make sure the car is not moving at all.

With having all those stolen parts im sure it be easy to fix all your cars. All of my parts are legit, which is why it takes me longer to fix them.

Im not trying to say youre wrong but how would the coolant system affect the idle? The temperature is fine and stays below the middle.

Yeah I push the clutch in all the way and it still does it. I would say it does it 4/10 times when trying to reverse. When it had the short shifter it wouldnt go in at all, it would either grind or just completely block me out of reverse. I would have to turn off the car, put it in gear, then turn it back on.

your can can still appear to be running and cooling fine, but have air bubbles in the cooling system. air bubbles can make the iacv do it's thing in correctly, thus letting in too much air giving you the high idle.

how's your clutch fluid level looking? i don't know a TON of stuff on trannies, but i know if perhaps your m/c or slave cylinder were leaking, making it so it only gets most of the pressure from the pedal, i would essentially be as if you're not releasing the clutch all the way while trying to shift ya?
