ok so i just bought a 94 ls auto for a beater car untill i got my 99 hatch done and im already having problems with it so yesterday i went to work and it started missing, backfiring ect I was like WTF!! then it went back to normal like nothing happen it seems it wants to turn off at times, its done it before when u just let it idle it will just turn off. Also notice that when u try to start it at times it will turn off right away almost like a short or bad ground i checked all the grounds they seem to be good. It has new sparkplugs and new distributor.
please help im trying to sale it and i wanna fix the problem first.

 

My 96 ls was doing that. I had to replace my distributor. It runs fine now
