Ls-Vtec motor blow up

im about to get an ls-vtec swap and i hear that they crap out or blow up within a month or 2?

No. Search the archives for "rod / stroke ratio, ls vtec, etc." https://honda-tech.com/zerosearch You'll find PLENTY of stuff.

ls/vtecs arent bad at all.. i know a couple people with ls/vtec and b20/vtec... none of them have blown their motors and they have had them for a good while now... im sure if you were to put a vtec head onto a ls block with nothing done to the block ( vtec oil pump... rod bolts and etc..) it wouldn't be as reliable..
