can i replace a d16y8 with a d17a2

can i replace a d16y8 with a d17a2 into my 99 ek ex.....
is it the same layout and what not.
jus plug and start?

nope, not even a little bit. different engine and trans mounts, d17's use coil on plug which means no distributor, etc.

but you might be able to use most part.
is a d-series engine.
