civic brake problems, help!
i recently got a 1993 honda civic EG, and i dont know anything about hondas yet. i got it for a really good deal, but with one problem. brakes. for some reason it seems like the lines are constantly getting air in the lines when its not losing any fluid at all. also, you can push the pedal about an inch from the floor with no signs of stopping, and if you push it that last inch it suddenly grabs and stops, slowly. so far ive replaced the master cylinder and brake booster and ive bled the lines completely 4 times. i cant seem to find it, and i really hate going to shops for work. anyone have ideas? any help is appreciated.
just did that earlier. brand new master cylinder and brake booster. and full bleed and nothing helped. is there anything in the intake manifold that affects the brakes? i mean, i dont think there is, but once again, im a noob. the reason i ask is because when i press the brake down you can hear a deflating sound come out of the intake and i dont know if its normal or not. (and yes the bypass valve is facing the right way and both hoses attached to the valve are brand new) any other ideas?
