Lowest seat rails for DC2 Recaros?
Hi,
What are the rails that will give me the lowest possible driving position when using JDM Recaros in an Integra?
I am considering Spoon rails, is there anything better out there?
Thanks!

i use the Vision low rail on mine. MUCH lower than the stock rails that they came with.
however, Vision is no longer in North America.

I have MemoryFab rails for my Recaro SR3. I'm on the floor and I love it. I'm 6'0 and the driving position is excellent compared to stock rails. Each rail has its own rubber-capped slider rod, so you need both hands to operate the sliding mechanism of the rails, which means changing your seat position while driving is not a good idea. It's not a big deal but it's something to get used to if you change from stock rails.
I would highly recommend the MemoryFab rails if you want a replacement. I"ve not heard anything good about the Vision rails except for seat position.

i just got a set of DC2 Recaros for my civic and i keep seeing people with this low seat rail issue.....
is it only an issue in the Integra's or does it sit alot higher than stock in a Civic too???

I had Vision rails for awhile, but besides the height, they were kind of cheap. Only would side would lock, so the seat would shift when braking or accelerating. I'm on oem jdm itr rails now.
I have the memfab rails on the drivers seat only and i love it. I've never had an issue with adjustment or slippage. They aren't as smooth as OEM but the lower seating position is well worth it. My helmet was hitting the roof before and now there is a considerable gap.
The JDM Recaros sit higher than the stock USDM seats, FYI

Just bumping an old thread in hopes others will see it when they search for information...
I've had numerous seat rails in a DC2 with the OEM SRD seats and this is what I have found.
- OEM DC2 JDM Recaro SRD seat rails are high as efff... if you have a helmet and are over 5'8" good luck.
- Bride RO seat rails, maybe 3/4" lower than the JDM, IMO barely worth the money as they just don't drop the seat enough.
- Vision / Spoon seat rails / Memory fab, 2" ish lower than stock, they all basically drag along the floor carpet! All of them slide a bit sticky but seating position is miles better.. you don't realize just how high and horrible the factory rails are until you sit in a vision slider.
GL peeps.
