Best tire/tire brand for EF's
I was wondering what tire size/brand/model to get for my gsr rims. I'm thinking 205/50/R15... I'm told that it won't rub and would be a great fit...I'm now wondering what brand and model to go with. What I had in mind....
-Falken Azeni's
-Falken Ziex
-Toyo Proxes
-Bridgestone Potenza..
Yokohama is just too much.....let me know what you guys think...I'm going for a semi-long lasting and a very grippy surface to stick to the road....Thanks in advance...

The 205's might rub, especially on hard cornering...I suggest getting 195 all around and for brand of tires, the Bridgestone Potenza is my pick if you want both traction and longer threadwear. Falken Azenis is good for daily driver and racing but due to softer compound, it will not last as the Potenza's. Ziex on the other hand is just plain hard rubber. (from what I've read).
yeah i really like potenza's and also the s-03's....what model potenzas work for u guys though...yeah im concerned about the rubbing too but i do want a wider tire....

I have kuhmos on my rex, You don't have it on your list though.
I love the potenza,s the yok's and the azenis, but the wear a bit faster than the kuhmos, or so I've been told. Thats why I made my choice since I commute in my car I want good tread life. I've only gone 124 miles since my swap, and the addition of the new shoes. So we'll see if they last.

i have toyo proxes fz4, 205/45/16, my car is really low, and when i have a passenger just the rear pass side rubs. other than that they fit fine. ok tires imo, good all around tire. nothing fancy but they handle rain, and some snow.

i love potenzas and they grab good,.... but they dont do a great of a job while raining.... my buddy has them on his eclipse and they are great, but a little too loose on rain and snow,.... and for some reaosn they wear fast....
as for me...... i got the Yokohamas AVID T4 195/50/15 ($95 a piece) on my GSR's and my am very happy with the tires traction....... sometimes i cant even chirp on 2nd.... they grab good...... i change tires to my old ones and i can spin on 2nd like a ****, thats how i know the traction its a hell lot better........
Where can i buy some of those sweet looking bridgestone potenza re540's.. Those look ILL.. And i want that size too cause azinis dont come in 55 series for the 14's.. Thanks. Ive had kuhmos in 205/50r15 on 95 gsr rims.. They felt kinda shity, the were loud and felt like they gave easier around turns then my 195 55r15 bridgeston reo10's.. Stock R tires are dope.. hehe..
Try www.tirerack.com on the website there is a desicion guide. Give it a try and see what it says.
The Azenis will give you the best handling of the ones you listed. My personal experience with the S03 is that its ****. I wouldn't run another set of S03's even if they were free. The Azenis blow them away in traction.
personnaly I like pirelly p7000, they don't last long but they glue as hell, and they are not preicey!!
